This theory is the basis behind all of Terry’s programs. It is the most important aspect of his private training sessions with clients who demand the most high powered and challenging workouts for the fastest visible results.
During these private sessions, Terry provides clients with structured workouts every week for 52 weeks.
Each workout includes a change of sets, reps, and weights for every muscle group. These change approximately every four weeks. Nothing is repeated.
This type of personal training is based on the philosophy of everything is good and works, but not for an extended period of time.
Your body gets used to a workout and anticipates the same one every day or week.
When your body is shocked “out of the ordinary” exercises into new ones unexpectedly, the results can become extraordinary.
Terry founded his business in 1993 with personal training sessions as the foundation.
A variation of classes, nutrition plans, and a line of customized supplements were added. The business continues to evolve daily.
Terry sets up his private sessions after a personal consultation. They are not available in the main scheduling system.
He makes the final decision as to whether or he can accommodate new clients; however, Terry does his best to meet the demands of those seeking his services.
His clients have included major sports figures such as New York Yankees player Paul O’Neill and the entire Cincinnati BenGals squad. Most recently Terry started collaborating with disabled clients who require specialty care and supervision in a gym setting.
Come meet Terry in person today and find out how he can lead you to a new life of fitness and health.
Terry’s personal story is one of inspiration and perseverance. After graduation with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Cincinnati, Terry headed west to California where he discovered a penchant for weightlifting. Shortly after relocating he received horrific news that his father had committed suicide without warning.
Every time he experienced negative feelings or painful memories about father, Terry turned to the gym for strength and the ability to walk through the darkness. Throughout this healing process, Terry fell in love with powerlifting and began to compete. What was originally a hobby, turned into a semi-professional career taking him to events across the nation where he won back-to-back strong man competitions. He retains a world record – squatting 1100 pounds, which has yet to be broken. In 1993 Terry decided to return to Cincinnati to open his own gym. And the rest as they say, is history.
